AutonomouStuff formally announced the launch of the Open Autonomy Pilot program and a press event to kick off the initiative. Two automated vehicles will begin driving a defined route in downtown Peoria, Illinois, on Monday, June 3, to gather data and train software. AutonomouStuff founder, CEO and President Bobby Hambrick will join Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis on Monday afternoon on the Peoria riverfront to acknowledge the beginning of the pilot’s first stage.
